Barnes-Jewish Liver Transplant Surgeon Weighs in on Acetaminophen Debate

July 1, 2009, ST. LOUIS - Local doctors say they would welcome stronger warnings about painkilling drugs they prescribe every day, but stopped short of endorsing a proposed government ban on drugs such as Vicodin and Percocet.  Jeffrey Lowell, MD, liver transplant surgeon at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine is among them.

StoryCorps/National Public Radio Feature on Talking to Loved Ones About Cancer Diagnosis

LOUIS – Nationally recognized StoryCorps visited the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine April 17-21 as part of a collaborative project to better understand how parents with cancer discuss the diagnosis with their children.
